rain or shine
Men of the U.S. Postal Service collecting from a sturdy mailbox.
I'm guessing around 1910, since that looks like a Columbia Touring car.
Reminds me, for some reason, of the narrator with that stern voice in Woody's Take The Money and Run, telling us about the convict doing hard time on the Federal charge of dancing with a mailman.

What a delightful surprise! Nice to meet you Phil! This is such a treasure! It looks like he could just pick up the mailbox and take it with him!
Love the pic. Love Woody.
Nice to see Laurel and Hardy! I love those guys. We just watched their movie Music Box last night and laughed like we haven't already seen it a zillion times. Dancing with a mailman is a Federal Offense Hope I don't get caught.
Hi, papel1!..it certainly is.
The pleasure is mine, Marie. I've been lurking at your postcard blog for some time.
Willow..no time to talk now..carving a gub out of soap. ;^)
