We've been burning quite a bit this year in our fireplace. It does seem to draw us all together when a fire is lit.
I like the haiku and the photo of that warm hearth.

Peace

your matches always, ALL WAYS
strike my heart.

please forgive my late arrival. i was needed out of town before i could answer every haiku and came home all the better for the challenge of helping others but under quite the weather.
so nice to sit beside your fire and rest a bit in your light.
thank you for walking the haiku walk with me this year. let's do again and again!
