beautiful libraries
A recurring dream that arrives almost every night finds me lost in a catacomb of wooden mahogany shelves filled with old fragile books in beautiful libraries.
How breathtaking it would be for those dreams to materialize!
Ah, maybe one day to travel and get lost in every one of them.

Sounds like a very nice dream to me! I love beautiful old libraries and bookshops. That particular smell of lightly musty pages mixed with dust and wood. Ahhh. Heaven.
That's a gorgeous photo, BTW. Like in your dream?
Pretty close, Willow, except with dustier shelves.
Any old out-of-the-way bookshops in your neck of the woods?
Yes, I have a particular favorite second hand bookshop. It has the lovely smell I mentioned above, complete with creaky hardwood floors and an overfill of books stacked on the floors at the end of the isles. I could spend days in there.
Glorious pics Phil... do they match your dream?
There is nothing better than puttering away in a second hand bookstore... what heaven. I'm with Willow - I love that musty smell of well-loved books that have lain fallow for a while.
