Now this is a great bloodcurdling ghost story.
Even with all the lights on.

A music composer and his sister move into an English cliff side mansion and get involved with the chilling mystery of a local young woman:



Unfortunately, this movie from 1944 is not available on dvd, but TCM does show it from time to time.
See it - with at least one light burning - if you can!

My absolute favorite spooky story. Why, oh why, is it not available on DVD??? Who can we write to?? Sigh.

I've also been searching a long time for the novel. It's rare and very expensive.

Yes, this one is SO spooky! I have seen it on TCM, last year I think. I agree, it needs to be on DVD! Willies!!
