My yearly screening of Radio Days is over, concluding with Diane Keaton warming my drafty apartment with Cole Porter's You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To, and now all there's to wait for is the ball to drop in New York City...
My New Year's Eve tradition is re-reading Joyce's THE DEAD and, of course, watching Dick Clark. Only this year was less Dick-centric, and Ryan Seacrest's smarm forced me to bail once the ball dropped.
I hope I never again use the phrase "Dick-centric".

I raise a cup of kindness to you, dear bloggy friend. Happy New Year!
Radio Days is the best. Now I'm off to find my secret Masked Avenger's ring...
What a great way to ring in the new year - that's one of my favourite movies of all time, full of love and nostalgia. :)
Edward and I wish you a truly Happy New Year!! Full of good health, peace and all sorts of joy!
