the glass moon

A bulk of the soil is glass.

Shining like a refined incandescent ornament in a curio display case.

Would you go, given the opportunity?

I just finished watching the documentary on TCM with Buzz Aldrin hanging out with Robert Osbourne. The footage was riveting and I was on the edge of the sofa by the end, as though it was all happening for the first time, instead of 40 years ago. Our planet truly did look like a small blue marble, so incredibly beautiful and moving. How I hope we can keep it well.

I love the current header. I remember my uncle saying that part of what made Garbo so beautiful was that every aspect of her face, every angle, was fascinating.

I hope all is well with you Phil!

Yes, Pamela, I would go.
Although some would say I've already been there. :) How about you(and your little dog too)?

I saw that too, G, and loved it. There was awesome footage of the LM from the CM gliding across the surface before landing I'd never seen before. And just to think it was all early '60s technology.
Hope you are well too. :)
